The consultancy that couldn’t sell itself.

Prospective clients needed to understand how the firm could help them enter an unfamiliar market. I helped the website turn its expertise into a clearer reason to get in touch.

1.2% to 2.8%Visitor-to-inquiry conversion

Organic traffic increased from roughly 380 to 1,150 visits a month, and visitor-to-inquiry conversion moved from 1.2% to 2.8%. Together, those changes took monthly inquiries from around five to roughly 32. The measured improvement was in the firm’s ability to start conversations with interested visitors.

What the business needed.

The consultancy helped companies enter Gulf markets, but its own website made that expertise difficult to understand. Visitors encountered a dense list of capabilities and had to work out for themselves how those services would help. The engagement focused on making that first impression more useful to a prospective client.

Where progress was getting stuck.

A company considering market entry needed confidence in the people advising it. The website led with internal service descriptions and placed evidence of the team’s expertise too far from the decision to make contact. The narrative needed to start with what the buyer was trying to achieve and what they needed to know.

How I helped.

  • I reframed the positioning around the client’s market-entry decision, explaining the help the consultancy could provide in that context.
  • I directed the website narrative, page hierarchy and placement of credibility signals so visitors could assess the firm more easily.
  • I developed a buyer-focused content direction to attract relevant prospects and help them consider the next step.

What changed for the business.

The rounded traffic and conversion figures imply roughly five and 32 inquiries. A separate inquiry-to-qualified-lead rate is not available.

Where I took responsibility.

I led the positioning and commercial narrative, setting what the website and content needed to explain and prove. A web designer and developer rebuilt the site, a graphic designer handled the identity and a content specialist produced material against my briefs. The consultancy remained responsible for its client engagements.

Could this help your business?

If your expertise becomes clear only after someone speaks to you, your website may be asking a prospective client to take too much on trust. I can help you explain the value sooner and place the right evidence where a buyer is deciding whether to contact you.

An anonymized engagement. Figures are rounded from client reporting and engagement records.

What would you like to change?

You may already know what needs to change, or you may be trying to work out why progress has slowed. Tell me a little about your business and what you want to achieve, and let’s see where I can help.
