A market entry built to hand over.
The operator had a platform ready for its first market and needed a commercial team around it. I led the launch work and prepared the operation for a permanent CMO to take over.

- Six-month fractional CMO mandate, 2025
In the first 90 days, the operation produced roughly 6,700 verified first-time depositors on a €320K budget. Blended acquisition cost was around €48 against a €65 target, and thirty-day retention was 22% above the pre-CRM baseline. The full-time CMO took over a working commercial operation, with the team and responsibilities prepared for the handover.
What the business needed.
The operator was entering Nigeria with a platform, its own permissions and responsibility for compliance. It still needed the commercial channels, partnerships, customer lifecycle and reporting to support the launch. My six-month fractional CMO mandate included building that operation and preparing it for a full-time successor.
Where progress was getting stuck.
There was no coordinated commercial operation to connect the product with the local market. With a 90-day budget to work within, the order of channel development, partner recruitment and customer lifecycle work mattered. The launch also needed people and responsibilities that would continue beyond the temporary mandate.
How I helped.
- I set local positioning, channel priorities and budget logic, giving the launch a commercial sequence the team could follow.
- I built the affiliate structure and recruited 47 partners, with 27 sending customers by day 60.
- I directed creator partnerships and CRM work across acquisition, retention and reactivation.
- I prepared the operating playbook, scoped team roles and worked with the client to recruit and brief the incoming full-time CMO.
What changed for the business.

The source’s projected 3.5× twelve-month return is a forecast based on the first months. It is excluded from the recorded outcomes above.
Where I took responsibility.
I owned the commercial architecture, sequence and budget logic, and led the local team and agencies throughout the mandate. I also prepared the handover to the incoming CMO. Licensing, compliance and the platform remained the operator’s responsibility.
Could this help your business?
If you need an interim commercial leader for a launch, it helps to plan for the permanent team from the start. I can help you build the commercial operation and prepare the people, responsibilities and evidence that the next leader needs to carry it forward.
