What could a clinic offer after recovery?
Some former patients wanted support beyond recovery. I helped the clinic design an optional prevention and performance offer, alongside clearer packages and better use of existing capacity.
- Business
- Physiotherapy / sports rehabilitation
- Engagement
- Commercial review and subsequent build phase
The case records annual revenue moving from approximately €387K to €507K, including roughly €91K from memberships. That gave the clinic a recurring component alongside treatment episodes. The owner subsequently opened a second location.
What the business needed.
The clinic’s three physiotherapists worked mainly through treatment episodes. Once someone had recovered, the relationship usually ended. The commercial review considered whether suitable former patients wanted a legitimate next step and how the clinic could offer it responsibly.
Where progress was getting stuck.
People interested in prevention or performance had no clear continuing offer to consider. The clinic also needed a more useful package structure and a review of available treatment capacity. Those commercial questions had to sit alongside the practitioners’ responsibility for appropriate care.
How I helped.
- I designed an optional prevention-and-performance membership at €169 a month for people whose continuing needs suited the offer.
- I created prepaid session packages and a clearer route into continued support where appropriate.
- I reviewed scheduling and treatment-space use with the clinic’s practitioners, connecting the offer with the capacity available to deliver it.
What changed for the business.
The case records annual revenue moving from approximately €387K to €507K, including roughly €91K from memberships. That gave the clinic a recurring component alongside treatment episodes. The owner subsequently opened a second location.
Membership visits sit inside the session count and are not counted again as separate session revenue.
Where I took responsibility.
I led the commercial review, membership and package design, and the examination of scheduling and space with the practitioners. I directed the commercial implementation. The clinic’s treating professionals retained responsibility for clinical decisions and whether continued support suited an individual patient.
Could this help your business?
If a customer relationship ends after a successful service, there may be a useful next offer for some people. I can help you assess whether that need exists and design a voluntary offer that fits it, with delivery and professional responsibilities made clear.
