💯 I run three businesses every day:
My agency (which is essentially three businesses because of the different brands and verticals), my consultancy, and my e-comm.
I often get asked why I run my social media the way I run it and if that’s necessary.
Abso-effing-lutely! 💪
I can certainly improve a lot, especially when I’ll finally take the time to add video to the mix, but everything I do online for my personal brand feeds everything else beautifully.
My social media presence attracts talent, investors, team members, clients, and also friends.
I show my core values, and everyone who wants to join any of my teams can check if they align with them.
We recently added a new project manager, and she specifically stated that what I say and do publically resonated with her.
She was, therefore, pre-vetted. 😉
I don’t have to completely align with everyone on everything. But the core values are important.
Intentional living.
Intentional working.
Focus on mental health.
Grit.
Resilience.
Tenacity.
Trust.
Kind candor.
Excellence.
That’s me, or at least what I strive for.
And that’s the type of person I want around me.
I attract people who genuinely care about our clients and customers and who want to help them grow their businesses by giving our best.
And just like that, you also know what to expect as a client or customer when you start working with me and my teams.
So, YES, I need a social media presence and, YES, it’s necessary that I run mine the way I do. 😉
And in the end, what kind of a content marketing guy would I be if I didn’t put out at least a little bit of content? 😅
